* Her mother is Filipino, Chinese, and Hispanic and her father is Irish and Native American.
* Vanessa used to perform in a small-time girl group prior to hitting it big.
* Vanessa has been home-schooled since the 7th grade.
* Vanessa's dream car is a Porsche Carrera GT.
* She got her first acting gig when her friend couldn't go to an audition for a commercial and Vanessa went in her place.
* Her two role models are her mother and the late actress Natalie Wood.

HSM stars go to Australia



Right when you think the High School Musical stars were done with promoting their new movie Senior Year, they were spotted heading to the LAX International Airport today.

Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Tisdale, were all spotted about to catch a flight to Australia, for the premiere and the promotional tour, for High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
