Wizards of Waverly Place star Selena Gomez takes a spin on Cinderella's Golden Carousel during a visit to the Magic Kingdom Sunday at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Gomez is curently working on her Disney Channel movie, Princess Protection Program with BFF Demi Lavato. In the original TV flick, Lovato plays a princess-in-hiding who covers as an ordinary teen with the help of Gomez's character. "I'm having a blast!" Gomez says of her newfound fame. "I've been blessed with everything that I'm doing."

Selena Gomez, who was celebrating her 17th birthday yesterday (July 22), got a huge flower arrangement from Taylor delivered right to studio where the birthday girl was rehearsing for “Wizards of Waverly Place”.

A Disney Channel spokesperson says, “Taylor contacted Disney Channel to make sure she could send it to the studio. It was so big two men had to carry it to the car!”

The Another Cinderella Story star told a magazine, “I love horror films. I was a big fan a as a kid. So, I’d like to act in a horror film one day and play someone who dies, just to make those who hate me happy (laughs). For sure they’d like to see me get killed.”

Also, the starlett talked about Christmas as well! She told the magazine that she spends a part of Christmas with her mom, and another part with her “real” father.

“The 24th I spend with my father’s family and the 25th I am with my mother,” she explained!

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato Crash a Prom

Now that she's bringing an end to her television career, Selena Gomez appears to have found something else to occupy her time: Crashing other people's proms.

People magazine reports that the Wizards of Waverly Place star and her BFF/Princess Protection Program co-star, Demi Lovato, made an uninvited, unannounced appearance at the Etobicoke Collegiate Institute prom in Toronto on Thursday night.

The prom-crashing incident occurred while Gomez and Lovato attended a dinner in honor of their movie at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex. Apparently bored with the festivities, Gomez ducked out of the dinner and did some exploring, eventually stumbling across the prom.

After sweet-talking a security guard into letting her in, the 16-year-old decided to cut a rug with a few of the female prom-goers.

"They were all dancing in a group and having fun," an attendee tells the magazine. "Selena was thrilled to see firsthand what a real prom is like and that her dress was much like the other girl's dresses."

Giddy with the thrill of the experience, Gomez went back to the dinner and retrieved her pal Lovato, and the two returned to the prom, partying until 11 p.m.—when, lamentably, security told them to take a hike.

"PPP peeps and I crashed a prom tonight and danced with a highschool!!," Gomez tweeted later on. "amazing!! I finally had prom!"

Princess Rosalina is threatened by an evil dictator bent on taking control of her country and is whisked away and placed into the Princess Protection Program, a secret agency that watches over imperiled princesses around the world. She’s taken to her protector’s home where she meets Carter and learns how to be a normal teenager.
